OUR SUCCESS STORIES AND ONGOING PROJECTS

Programs & photos

Mission Accomplished:

  • Provided food and toiletries to the Cleveland State University student community.
  • Guided and provided financial help to an international graduate student and a woman of color at University of Akron to pursue her degree.
  • Facilitated celebrating Afghan refugees in their First Eid (Holiday) in Northeast Ohio. To celebrate this festival in support of Afghan refugees in the NEOH our volunteers distributed Eid special meals among Afghan families.
  • Collected winter jackets, boots, pants and other clothes in collaboration with City of Cleveland.
  • Donated prayer rugs to benefit the Chaplaincy at Northcoast Behavioral Health, Northfield, Ohio and another 15 prayer rugs to benefit Muslims students at Strongsville High School, Strongsville, Ohio.
  • Provided Afghan families with winter jackets, boots, socks, hand gloves, ear warmers, jeans, comforters, bedsheets, Salwar-kameez, education materials and more.
  • Delivered newly arrived Afghan families with the basics supplies that needed to start rebuilding their lives here in the U.S. We gifted new winter jackets for men, women and kids, shirts, sweaters, pitchers, blanket scarfs, laundry soap, dish soap, kitchen towels, plates, blankets, rice, pasta, cooking oil, sugar, onions, potatoes, boxes of good used clothes, carpet and more.
  • Donated 400 books to Cuyahoga County Public Library in collaboration with Community Awareness Club of Strongsville High School . Credit go to all the amazing students of Strongsville High School for their support and donation.
  • Organized and participated food drive in partnership with Islamic Center of Cleveland.
  • Provided courtesy food and PPE items among Law Enforcement communities in NE OH.
  • Distributed winter clothes and COVID care items among homeless communities at St. Herman House – FOCUS Cleveland, and Haven of Rest Ministries, Akron, Ohio

Current projects:

  • Working with Kent State University, Ohio to guide and financially help an international student from Ghana to pursue her graduate degree.
